I was a bit reticent about letting Jake loose on Batman as the game is rated 15. It is something I struggle with, as Jake loves Batman and was very keen to play the game. As with many things, it came down to making an informed opinion.
Batman's got some pretty adult themes, but it's very much rooted in comic book mythology so we talked about it, and let him play the game. Thanks to the xbox's parental settings we're able to let him play certain games rather than all games.
For my own comments, Batman Arkham Asylum is definitely a great game and well worth the awards and amazing review Jake gave it.
